The Art of RQM
These photos were taken in the summer of 2004. RQM was fairly new to the Sunshine State and this was my first visit to his lovely home. The quilts are magnificent... beautifully crafted... artfully designed.
On my last visit he had started one using all batik fabric. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me.
Thank you, dear cousin, for allowing me to share my photos with our blog friends.
To fully appreciate the handy work, click on each image to enlarge.
Enjoy!!
The bedrooms; sewing/computer room; dining area; another wall in sewing room; pillow top; Dot relaxing on her favorite; and Dash in the loving arms of the gifted artist.
I love you.

What a nice place.
I'm glad I live there.
Let me give credit where it is due. The Butler had been here and done some serious "editing".
One of his MANY talents, taking your lemons and making lemonade.
You're the BEST cuz.
I LOVE YOU TOO!

Be still my heart.
I could live out my days in the 'Blue Room' and be perfectly happy.
The quilts are beyond gorgeous. I can't say enough about them. A beautiful home belonging to a beautiful man, it just doesn't get any better than this.
Thanks Ms. Connie Jane and Mr. RQM for sharing these photos. I think they are my personal favorite for best Photo Sunday photos ever.
I also love the minimalist touches by STB. Is he for hire? I need him. I have lots of lemons.
And how about that Nancy sweeping in from Vienna and laying claim to three of the quilts.
That being said, I want the batik quilt when it is finished. I'll buy it sight unseen. Unless Nancy gets it first...
Thanks again with loads of love.

Oh heavens. They're so beautiful--so happy and contented. I want to come and sit beside RQM and learn how he does it so well. Especially now that I see he's got room for visitors!
No, seriously.
holy cow!
those are GORGEOUS!!!
Sometimes work can show the love that was put into it; each of these shows it through and through!
Thank you for the beautiful photos!
