Elsie May & Connie Jane

This photo is of the sweetest grandmother who ever lived... and me. She was the kindest most loving person I have ever known. Until my sister was born, I was the only grandchild living in the same town and she spoiled me so. Bedtime stories, "helping" her in the kitchen, her brushing my hair, watching TV while sitting on her generous lap. So many fond memories. She's been gone over 40 years and I still miss her.

I love this photo.... you are as usual, a cutie!

I was the first grandchild, my parents lived with my grandmother at the time. How I was spoiled, how I loved her.

I remember teasing her and sitting on her lap when I was in college, like I used to when I was a child. How we laughed!

Although she had 7 children and 14 grandchildren, I was the one she spoke to last before she died. In French, she whispered "I love you very much."

Thank you Connie, for the memories~
