No bangs

I knew if I searched a little I'd find a picture without the bangs. This is probably December 1967 taken before we left for the Y-Teens Christmas dance.

That's Marc, we'd been buddies since about 7th grade and though we dated briefly it was better when we were just friends. I made that dress ... white satin brocade.

Was that a Vogue pattern?

It seems my Junior Prom date wore a dress very much like yours and I'm sure it was a Vogue pattern since I picked it out!

Oh that girl from Ohio.
I remember her, so cute!

And how many photos do we have of ourselves with a foot turned like Mark's?

Bang free, and life is worth living
But only worth living
'cause you're bang free!

Adorable and a talented dressmaker as well. I can't even thread a needle.

Tell me, where oh where did you get that Santa? I have that Santa! Since I was born! Here I thought I was the only one...

STB, I am not sure if it was a Vogue, Simplicity or Butterick pattern. I know I made a bunch of dresses from it during my high school years. It was "THE" style formal to have don'tcha know?

Blogzie, I think that particular Santa must have been all the rage then. Don't think my mother still has him though.

That "real" tree behind us was purchased at my request to replace the silver aluminum one we'd been using for years ... which I hated. NOW, I wish I had the damn thing for my screened porch.

Dondon, I don't remember being in your sister's wedding but it's certainly possible! Red hair runs in the family and those of us with it are blessed with a good shade o'red.
