Chuhuly Gallery

I love the art of Dale Chuhuly.
His exhibit of hand blown glass in St. Petersburg last year was amazing and wonderful to see.

The Bellagio, in Las Vegas, often features pieces from time to time in addition to the fabulous ceiling fixture in the lobby there.

In 2008 he will open his first gallery in St. Pete next to the new fine art museum.

I can hardly wait!!!

He is amazing.
I love the docu about the pieces he did for Venice.
I knew every spot they were hung.
I lived there, ( he bragged).

OMG, next time I go home to Florida....

I love Chihuly's art! I saw the exhibition in Orlando four times! It's such a difficult medium to work in anyway, glass is, and then to create such big, beautiful, fantastical object with it...!

L'Ailee always says that Florida has no culture; a visit to the Chihuly exhibition in Orlando last year stopped that for a little while. :-)

Now all we need is the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Daytona, and we're set.

Ain't that the truth crackerlilo? I saw the exibit in St. Petersburg and was totally blown away. The pieces pictured here I photographed in St. Pete and Las Vegas at the Bellagio.

His works are so unique even my hubby can spot one and he's more interested in Nascar than art. Looking forward to the gallery's opening.

PS: IMHO, the Nascar hall of fame should be in Charlotte where the France family can't control it's daily operation.
