C4/C5 - C5/C6

I do not recommend neck surgery unless it's absolutely necessary... it hurts.

Unfortunately, ours was necessary. Hubby is 14 days ahead in the recovery process... I started Tuesday. Two ruptured discs were replaced with cadaver bone then fused with a titanium plate & four screws.

It was DAY surgery!

My head feels like it weighs about 100 pounds. Sleeping is a challange but the drugs are awesome!

One day at a time... still reading, just not posting.

I know you know that you've been in my thoughts and I've been sending positive energy your way.

Not certain if you were at MPH but I was thinking about you when I visited a client in Adler 5 (psyche unit), and yes dear I know you were not in the psyche unit but from what I could see, they do have really good medication there!

Trust me that unlike you, he was feeling absolutely no pain!

HUGS and wishes for a speedy recovery!

Dear dear Don...

MPH indeed but outpatient only. (Just above emergency.)

I feel your good wishes and wonderful caring thoughts. Got new meds yesterday.... not as many "trips" as with the Oxycodine but better for my brain.

I often think of you and wonder how often we are crossing paths in real life. Thanks for the hugs. xo

Let me know how it turns out. I have a bad neck too, and I know they'd like to fix it.

But I'm skeered :)
