Dry and warm here...it keeps missing us, or we get a bit of flurries. Things are too dry at this point, it's already time to start worrying about wheat and corn and soybeans! My nephew came home from Wyoming Technical Institute for Christmas and had managed to time it between storms both ways (driving), but was lucky as he and another girl from Lawremce came home in her 4-wheel pickup. They came through Colorado and across Kansas on the way home, behind the Denver storm; then went home last Sunday across Nebraska through the northern edge of the last one. They drove through miles and miles of ice, the most he'd ever seen (and we get some wicked ice storms here).

We are starting into the part of the year where we usually "get ours" if we're going to. Glad you are there instead of here!

Thanks for thinking of me!

:o)

Oh my.... I thought you were somewhere up north on vacation!

Thankfully, were were wise enough to remain in Florida during the holidays where all we saw was rain, rain, and more rain.... but at least we didn't have to shovel.

Hope you're having a wonderful New Year!

It's finally catching up with us here...ice falling as we speak...60 yesterday, 24 today...listening to tires spin as they try to climb the hill out of the neighborhood as we speak!

Thinking of you...

Blogzie is back in full form, I am trying to stay on track but now, we are missing you, the butler and the quilt maker.....

Wake up, have that cup of coffee or a lovely mimosa and start blogging, dear lady.

You are missed!

Jeesh, I wish. Our AC has been running straight through winter. I'd welcome just a little bit of that ;)
